New Program in California: Alameda County Operation Comfort

Welcome, Alameda County Operation Comfort

We are pleased to announce that the Alameda County Operation Comfort program opened October 1, 2020!

In partnership with Alameda County Behavioral Health Care Services, ABODE Services, and Healthcare for the Homeless, Telecare Corporation will operate the behavioral health treatment component to this COVID-19 quarantine hotel project.

As a part of the California Department of Social Services’ Project Roomkey/Housing and Homelessness COVID Response, this program provides temporary Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT)-level services to 20 unhoused individuals who have been impacted by COVID-19. Services include behavioral health, daily psychiatric services, and 24/7 nursing support to assure vital signs can be monitored and medication support can be provided.

Who is Served: Unhoused residents of Alameda County with behavioral health issues who have tested positive for COVID-19, are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, or have been exposed to COVID-19 who would otherwise be moving into a CRT-like setting from acute units, emergency rooms, or other placements.

Hours of Operation: Services are available 24/7
