Telecare is pleased to announce that Kevin Jones has been promoted to Regional Director of Operations in Northern California, effective July 10, 2022. Kevin has been a valued member of Telecare's team for over 20 years, and we are excited to see him move into this new role.

Kevin will oversee San Mateo Transitions, Serenity House Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT), and Sonoma Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) with plans to add Cordilleras Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) in the future. He is based in San Mateo County and is excited to help contribute to the growth and success of these organizations.

Since joining Telecare as a clinical director in 2001, Kevin has been a driving force behind the company's growth and success. He has overseen the expansion of San Mateo Transitions from a 75-member community-based program to a 235-member program with a range of services, including adult, older adult, AB109 housing, and acute step-down services. Kevin's dedication to creating housing opportunities for Telecare members in San Mateo County was recognized with the "Housing Hero" award for excellence in 2015. Thanks to Kevin's leadership, Telecare is making a positive difference in the lives of its members and the community.

Kevin has recently been doing a fantastic job providing interim administrator and leadership support. He has helped lead the Comfort Q and Belmont Hotel, which were temporary hotels giving shelter and care to Alameda and San Mateo residents with SPMI and COVID. Kevin is also an expert in full-service partnerships and has been assisting in the leadership role of Sonoma ACT as the program is striving to recruit a clinical director and administrator. He is doing a fantastic job, and we are very grateful for all his hard work!

Thanks largely to the county's trust in local Telecare leadership, Telecare was tapped to take over Serenity House CRT. This is a testament to the great work that Kevin and Crystal Hutchinson have done in building relationships with our partners.

In his free time, Kevin loves spending time with his family, coaching youth baseball, and playing in a rock-and-roll band.
