Perris Staff Attend First Outreach Event for Community Reintegration

This week, Mental Health Urgent Care — Perris Clinical Team Lead Bobbie Parrell and Peer Recovery Coach Kathleen Knarreborg had the opportunity to attend an outreach event sponsored by The State of California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Adult Parole Division. The outreach event was for formerly incarcerated men, women, and their families to facilitate the successful reintegration of the individuals back to their communities equipped with the tools to be drug-free, healthy, and employable members of society by providing education, treatment, rehabilitative, and restorative justice programs, all in a safe and humane environment.

Some of the feedback given to the Perris Team was that their services are very needed and valuable to the community, especially those who are not connected to outpatient services and who are wanting to receive services in a welcoming and safe environment.
