My name is Kaila DeRienzo (she/her).

I am a Communications Specialist on the communications team at the Telecare corporate office. I’ve been at Telecare for 4 years.

In my role, I do a mix of things, including social media content creation and management, writing the Friday Flash, conducting interviews for Telecare's video and multimedia content, and assisting with projects to help recruit and retain great employees.

In my view, the best part of my job is when staff and clients trust me enough to tell their personal stories. It is a privilege and honor to be the one in charge of giving them a voice and a platform to share their experiences.

What makes me really proud of my team and the work we do is our ability to adapt to the ever-changing circumstances we're often faced with.

When I’m having a tough day, the thing that keeps me going is knowing we're all going through life for the first time.

My favorite quote or personal motto is, "Get out of your own way."

If I were going to describe Telecare in three words, they would be collaborative, welcoming, respectful.

My photos show a bit more about me! I'm a firm believer that you have to create opportunities for personal growth and fulfillment outside of work in order to bring the best version of yourself into work. For me, those opportunities are found in coaching and running. I've completed 11 half marathons, one full marathon, and taught more than 1,450 group running/strength classes since 2018.
