Morton Bakar Center Has Its Annual Picnic

This year's Morton Bakar Center annual picnic was a funk and soul tie-dye extravaganza!

The staff and residents came together to create tie-dyed shirts before celebrating to carry out the theme. There's nothing like a little team bonding to help flow the creative juices. Over 100 tie-dye t-shirts were made for the event, and a splash tank was set up to help everyone beat the heat!

Ribs, chicken, mac and cheese, beans, and veggies were served, and the event was made even better by live music from a local band. The program was even honored to have a few visitors from Alameda County Behavioral Health join the picnic. The lively atmosphere was made complete by the laughter and chatter of everyone enjoying themselves.

It's always a pleasure to see our programs come together and have a great time! We're so proud of Morton Bakar Center's teamwork, excellent resident care, and tradition for fun events like this!
