Welcome Vida ACT

We are pleased to announce that Vida ACT, our new JIMH community-based program in San Diego, opened September 16, 2019! This program was opened in partnership with the San Diego County Department of Behavioral Health Services.

Vida ACT is designed to improve the mental health and quality of life of justice-involved adults in the community who have a serious mental illness. The goal of Vida ACT is to offer advocacy to individuals who have extensive contacts with the criminal justice system by tailoring services to better manage conditions, monitor progress towards goals, and partner with community services to ensure continuity of care.

Address: The Vida ACT program is temporarily located until a permanent site is secured and renovated.

Who is Served: Adults who have a serious mental illness, have a possible co-occurring substance use disorder, who are justice-involved, and who may be homeless or at risk of being homeless.

Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
