Program Type: Crisis Residential

To Make Referrals: Referrals are made through the Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB).

# of Beds: 4 beds

Who We Serve: RCEB clients, ages 18 and older, in need of crisis residential services who would otherwise be at risk of admission to the acute crisis center at Fairview Developmental Center (FDC) or Sonoma Developmental Center (SDC); or clients who are at risk of an out of state placement, general acute hospital placement, an acute psychiatric hospital placement, or a mental health rehabilitation center.

About the Program: The Community Crisis Home (CCH) in Oakley, CA, is a new model of care for regional center clients in need of crisis residential services. Cypress House is a fully accessible CCH serving up to four Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) clients at any time.

Cypress House provides 24-hour, non-medical care to individuals with varying levels of intellectual and developmental abilities who are receiving regional center services and are in need of crisis residential services, who would otherwise be at risk of admission to a more restrictive setting such as a hospital or institution.

Cypress House is operated in partnership with the Regional Center of the East Bay.
