Sanie Andres Represents Telecare at CARE Act Roundtable

Earlier this month, Sanie Andres, administrator of Riverside Telecare Restorative Transformation Center Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (RTC MHRC), was invited to participate in a CARE Act Roundtable alongside Riverside County executives and key partners. The event brought together voices from across the county to discuss how the Community Assistance, Recovery and Empowerment(CARE) Act is supporting individuals and strengthening collaboration across the behavioral health system.

Hosted as part of a broader statewide effort to highlight the impact of the CARE Act, the roundtable included leaders from Riverside University Health System, the Public Defender’s Office, the Department of State Hospitals, County Counsel, and a CARE Court judge who regularly partners with RTC. Sanie participated with passion and expertise, sharing recovery stories and offering a treatment perspective that helped illustrate the important role RTC MHRC plays in supporting individuals and families in the community.

The conversation reflected the power of collaboration, creativity, and persistence in helping people connect to care. It also reinforced the importance of person-centered approaches that give individuals a voice in their recovery journey. As CARE continues to evolve across California, these partnerships remain essential to building a stronger continuum of support for those who need it most.

We are grateful to Riverside County and our many community partners for their leadership and commitment to this important work. RTC MHRC was proudly featured as a strong example of a recovery-oriented service making a meaningful difference in Riverside. Thank you, Sanie, for your thoughtful representation of Telecare and for helping advance this important conversation.
