We are excited to support Telecare SOAR Personal Service Coordinator, McCall Madriago, as she heads to Brazil to represent the USA Soccer Team in this year’s Deaflympics!

The Deaflympics is an international sporting event for deaf athletes that has a long and storied history dating back to 1924. The USA revealed their soccer team in the 1965 Deaflympics. The games were first known as the Silent Games and were created as a way for deaf athletes to compete in an international setting.

McCall has worked hard for many years and is a great example of what dedication and practice can do. We are so proud of McCall and all the hard work she has put in to accomplish this! Participating in the Deaflympics takes not only athleticism but commitment and perseverance as well. For McCall, competing at this level is a dream come true.
