Telecare programs in Santa Maria participated in the Out of the Darkness Walk, joining the community in support of suicide prevention and mental health awareness. Carmen Lane CRT and Agnes Avenue CRT represented all five Santa Maria area programs at the event hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

The Out of the Darkness Walks bring together communities nationwide to open conversations about mental health and support those affected by suicide. Staff and clients walked side by side, creating connections and demonstrating solidarity with others impacted by suicide loss and mental health challenges.
