Leader Bio: Toby Estler

My name is Toby Estler (He/Him/His).

I am the Program Administrator at Pierce County Peer Bridger and Telecare Community Alternatives Teams programs. I’ve been at Telecare for nine years.

In my view, the best part of my job is inspiring my team to feel confident and competent while providing care to those we serve. I also enjoy helping develop leadership skills amongst the program staff.

What makes me really proud of my team and the work we do is how caring and supportive the team is while they do this often challenging work.

When I’m having a tough day, the thing that keeps me going is thinking about the beautiful natural spaces I get to run in several times a week. Trail running keeps me grounded, present, and grateful for the beauty of our amazing Pacific Northwest.

My favorite quote or personal motto is, “When one person resolves one issue, the whole of humanity moves forward.” — Dr. Ron Hulnick, Ph.D.

If I were going to describe Telecare in three words, they would be service-oriented, creative, and committed.

Thank you for letting us get to know you, Toby! We are so glad to have you as part of #TeamTelecare!
