Use your passion for caring for consumers of mental health services, and your strong clinical reasoning processes, proven leadership abilities and demonstrable commitment to recovery, to create a strong team and effective, recovery-oriented nursing services. You will be responsible for all activities related to nursing, the administration of client care systems, and client care in all nursing areas.
Treatment Practice and Philosophy
The treatment philosophy at Heritage Center is based on the premise that during the acute phase of illness all individuals have the potential to rehabilitate and to make choices about their environments for living, learning, working, and socializing. Treatment concentrates on symptom reduction and preparation for discharge to, and linkage with, community resources. Nursing and support staff join with the medical and social work staff to plan clients' treatment and assure transition back to the community as quickly as clinically appropriate.
Recently renovated Group RoomThe program is based on crisis intervention models and addresses the immediate needs of the individual, maintains the individual's safety and stabilizes any distressing or life-threatening symptoms.
